I'm looking at buying a mid 90's Case 1845c for loading firewood and small grading/dirt work. I was wondering if you can make good money doing mulching or bush hog small land clearing type work. I could put high flow on an 1845c, and prolly could run a bush hog but idk about a mulcher. I know the 1845c Isn't a good machine to do this type of work, but thats besides the point, if the work was there, i'd buy the right machine. Anyone do this type of work in the North East, most people i see doing this are in the south, out west, or texas areas clearing that light brush mestqiuite type land. I live in NY, and Rochester and Syracuse areas is where i do my skidsteer work now. I just don't see many people wanting their land cleared for trails or w/e to pay for the 50k+ in equipment. keep in mind this is for upstate NY, so guys who do this in the south west may be totally different then up here, idk. thanks
