skidding and grapple work

Anyone one skidding small stuff and using a grapple on a 30hp ''ish'' compact tractor,how you getting on with it??

I'm using a kioti ck30 tractor, uniforest 3.5 ton skidding winch and a heavy duty grapple made by a local forestry engineer,only trouble i'm having is i've got turf tyres on the tractor instead of ag..

Ag tyres next for the list ,will post pics of tractor at work soon!

Get some chains for the back tires and some weight on the front end, you'll be doing real good.

I've got weight with my front end loader and grapple,but tire chains are a must,especialy with the British climate
