Jayzuz!! that's a big bugger. The air cleaner cover/petrol tank looks like it's off a motorbike ........ that's because at 139cc all it's missing is a set of wheels

Just bought one of these saws today for an ASer off it's original owner and he still had the manual for it.
Tks. Can do the same with the PM270 and 370 manuals if it's useful to anyone. Also Pioneer 650.Awesome manual!

If you don't mind scanning the others I'll pass them on in the beg for manuals area
Sure. I am photographing then tweaking it as my flatbed scanner doesn't work with my new computer, darn it. I just went to photograph the PM270 manual and I've got a 'special, collectors edition' because it has been collated with the correct number of pages but has doubled up on one leaf (2 x 2=4 pages of the booklet). Unfortunately, it means I don't have pages 11/12 nor 29/30, the latter 2 being the parts list for the carby and diagram for the gas tank IPL. Not sure I should continue with this but if someone else has these pages and can upload them, then I can complete the manual.
Here's the cover for reference:

Hi Lee, can you you or anyone with a 1690 please physically check the crankcase assembly part number? I'm freaking out a little bit here b/c the skil1690 manual says "281602" yet I'm just cleaning this supposed 1690 up a little to send to JJ and it has "281002" stamped on it. BUT when I check the PM370 and 390 I have here they are stamped with the same code but it's laid out differently - they word it as "2 8 1 - 0 0 2" whereas the skil1690 has it as one number and quite compressed, like "281002", so it's a different mark altogether even though the numbers are the same, but it doesn't jive with the IPL I have in the manual.
I can check but it won't be till later today.
The number on the case might be an enginering
number and not an actual part number.
Post a couple pic's of the saw.
Lee
