should i be concerned about my sky worker lift, it was a old city truck ,1973 model truck, when i rotate it extended out away from the truck , it jerks and wobbles , is this normal ? thanks: help:

Every bucket truck I've ever worked from was more jerky and wobbly at full extension. But that doesn't make yours any more or less safe.

When was it last professionally inspected?

sky worker has Ben out of biz for 25 years the upper boom brakes right at the knuckle one did in the next town DOA tom trees:cheers:

On the main lift cylinder at the base of the turret, do you have what looks like a u-joint? The older ones that didnt get upgraded had these and they were prone to premature wear and would cause a lot of slop when you went past a certain point. P M me with exactly whats going on with your lift. My old man had two of them new and I had one myself and know them in and out.
