How many of you guys could put on a clinic for the local Dr's on how to remove a sliver properly, usually by the light of a fire in the middle of the night? Seems silly, but I guess that I would rather chance a sliver rather than put on the remarkably new looking glove by the wood box. Maybe it is the challenge or something. I have all the PPE for doing everything, all the way to the firebox, then I get lazy. Boy am I clever.
BTW a new razor blade really works well.

Big ones= Pliers
Small ones= Swiss army knife tweezers.
Itty bitty ones= Duct tape. Works well with blackberry hair thorns too.

Stay safe!

Usually by the time I find what I need to get one out I forgot why I needed it. So I will put whatever was looking for in my pockettill I remember why I was looking for it.

Been known to carry a lot of stuff in my pockets.

+1 on the Swiss Army knife I never leave home without one or the tweezers on my Micro Leather man attached to key chain.

First I've heard of the ductape use for that. I'll have to try that sometime.

When ya get those annoying itty bitty ones that only snag on clothing like Bramble thorns, Duct tape can't be beat. Just rub it over the sliver ya can't see and then peel it off a couple times.

I get blackberry hair thorns on my legs all dadgum summer, and it's the only way to get most of 'em. Gets some hair too, for that "GQ goin to monnaco for the weekend" look. :D

Stay safe!
