Well yesterday i rambled around most of the morning and came home with these birthday goodies.

Did you pay $70 for that little hatchet!?!?? Wow - I don't pay more than a buck or two for a hatchet, but then they're for the kids.

Happy birthday. I'd sure like to try one of those isocore mauls. The Stihl is on my list too. The monster maul, however, you can have all to yourself.

Actually a monster maul is a good thing to have around. I've used mine as a wheel chock many times.

Currently it's on loan to my brother in law. He'll probably never give it back, which is fine with me. He'll also probably feel guilty about it and feel indebted to me. Then maybe he'll come help cut wood sometime, and it will have been totally worth giving it to him.

I sold my monster maul for $5.00 to a much younger man. I think I got the best part of that deal, less stuff in the garage I don't use
