Put together a blown up 350 Husky with a 346 piston. Everything else is stock but it sure seems Snappy!

What is the difference between the 346 and 350 piston, besides the 346 piston being 2mm smaller?

So the piston made the difference- nothing else? No gasket delete or muffler opening up?
Was it a 44 or 45mm 350?

It is a 44 mm and the difference is the 346 was not scuffed LOL

So the old 44mm 350 piston was 44mm across the sides and kind of 43mm front to back?
Or was it a whole lot more than just the exhaust side fried?

Still needs another 346 part- the front muffler support bracket.

I did not have the correct long screws for the muffler so found some stainless steel that were even longer. No problem for the 350 because the holes are not blind and lots of meat for the bolts and even past. That muffler would have to come out a long way before it fell out. Of course it may melt the case by then but the loud noise should alert any reasonable person to something wrong. Yea I know some operators are not to reasonable.
