Had a rainy day forecast thursday so I figured I would do estimates, run errands, etc. Went up to Tallmadge and hit up Leppos for parts, bar oil, and fuel mix. Been thinking about how tired I am of lugging up the Farm Boss or Rancher to chunk down the bigger wood and saw they had their last 260 on sale running an 18" bar for 485.00. Ordered the outside dogs for it and should get those next week. Friday rolls around and the crappy weather comes in late after I am committed on an Elm removal with half the crown already down. I didn't mind! Stupid dripping wet grinning fool chunking down the big pieces with my new saw loving every minute of it. Must be CAD or something!

Yep. Sounds like CAD to me, fella. :msp_biggrin: Now have the puppy ported and tuned...its the next phase of your addiction. :msp_wink:

Good show, they are $599 here in Canada! I picked up a pretty much brand new 026 (yeah not a scratch on it) from a friend of my dad's a month ago, and love it, it's my between MS-200t & 372 saw! Run a 16" and 18" bar on it, lots of power for what it's intended for!

I can't find one here. My old one seized up on me about a month ago. All I can find here is a 261... I'm holding out and looking for another 260. Love those saws!

Gonna save up some more change and spring for the famed 440 on ebay! When I went to buy a new one they had the 441 and the sales guy didnt have to persuade me too hard to just get the 460. My 088 was down at the time (piston and cylinder) and so I needed a saw I could count on. Very pleased with all my Stihl purchases so far and my Husky 455 Rancher which was my second big saw purchase after I beat the hell outta Poulan Pro 295 with a 20 inch bar. I did everything with that saw! Climbed and ground work with it! Remember cutting all the way around 40+" rounds with it and finishing with a big one man hand saw. Good times! LOL

There is a MS 260 for $599. here in Princeton BC, missed out on the last sale of the ms 261 but I here that there will be a fall sale of the MS 261 with some freebee's at $599 also sale priced. No deals on new in Canada and Husqvarna are priced much higher in my area. My local Stihl dealer also sell Husqvarna but have no stock and discourage you from interest in them! Why is it i spent $1200 on a computer but am reluctant to put out $800 on a quality saw?? My 024 av super has been very reliable.:eek:uttahere2:
