My buddy has one for sale for about $700 it has new piston and and crank bearings....190 psi.... runs good doesnt look the best.

190 seems way too high.. has the saw been modded?

yes, a great saw... Few can justify it except for milling and bragging...

or for just cutting a really fast cookie, they sort of spoil you.
I thought my 7900 cut fast, then i got the 066 and thought it cut fast, then i got the 084 and it cuts even faster, wonder where this will end.:dizzy:

I cut some of the biggest hardwoods in this area...I have an 088,and it takes a backseat to the 395 much of the time....It's a hoss...But heavy.Due to the fact that it's so much heavier,I'm not that much more productive with it.

i have been making 4 to 5 inch cookies for table tops for my shop an it would be so nice to put an 60 bar on it to cut the stuff with one pass so its even. it would make the sander work alot less.... you think 700 for it is good price?

Heck, yes it's a great saw and mine runs like he!! bent for election. However, as the rest have said, mostly for milling or bragging rights. I fear mine is for the latter, but it sure is fun!!!

I just picked up my new 0160, it was heavy

ive got the 084 and it is a beast when cutting the 088 is good but i would check the compression again 190 sounds high. i wouldn't want to use it all day long. i mostly use mine on large stumps . nice conversation peice when the homeowner sees it run.

Its a little much saw for most cutting but its worth every penny at $700. Personally I would rather kick myself for buying too much saw than not enough.

It's a killer saw, a wood eating, thermonuclear device. Best used for milling and bragging rights...or racing. BTW, "killer" also applies to what it does to your back after a while.
