Now now, easy fellas, I’m a married man!

I’d figured I’d get a wide variety of colorful responses so thanks for that. So in the end, she came out and I showed her how to split wood on some easy stuff, and did some splitting I needed to do, giving her advice hear and there as she tried it. Then I just let her have what she split. So it was fun, nice to hang out with someone else at the wood pile where I’m usually alone, and She’ll have enough for a couple fires over Christmas.

she is going to help me next time I go run a load in exchange for more wood in the future.

I’d give it to her. If she insists on paying then just throw out a low amount.

If she helps split the wood then it shows her that it’s not easy to get firewood. She will appreciate it a lot more if she has to sweat a bit to get it. I give a local lady here some free wood during the winter just because she doesn’t have a lot of money or friends. She definitely appreciates it though and don’t get any funny ideas fellas, she’s rather unattractive!
