Used my full wrap 441 today to put down a 36" dbh willow. Had to make the undercut from the 'wrong' side of the tree. I quickly discovered just how nice a full wrap is!.

Yep, makes a useful difference in some situations. Makes other things like flush cutting and changing out chains/bars a (minor) nuisance, but sure comes in handy.

I need to put a normal handle on my 460, the 1/2 wrap is a pain.

The older full wrap bars, like on the 2100 Husqy we have work well though.

Way back when I had a 045 Stihl with full wrap and yes it was a pain in flush cutting. I was doing a clear cut of a willow grove burn-over and the stumps had to be cut ALAP to allow bruscutters and the like to pass over them.
