Solid nose Vs. roller nose bar

The Roller nose went away in the early 80's mostly due to saftey concerns of the chain having to leave the bar to enter the roller then leaving the roller to re-enter the bar. Today roller nose bars are used mostly for racing applications and yes they due reduce the hp. needed turn the chain.

088 Muffler

Seth,
What do you want out of the KD-088 Muffler? Wwill that also fit and 084? Let me know.

The 088 stlye uses clamps to hold the muffler to the jug so no it won't work on a 084. Stihl charges $ 300.00 for a new 088 muffler. But I won't.
George do you have any Sachs Dolmars(120,153,166) Maybe?
