Hey, I am looking for a small and power-full saw for pruning, trimming, and some topping.... I really like the ms200t, but have just sank 1100 in a ms460 mag and don't really want to spend another 800 this week.... lol Anyways, just wondering how dependable and durable the solo 637 w/say a 14" bar would be?

$800 for an MS200T? We're talking US $$? If that's what you're paying, you're getting hosed.

That is a bit of an exaggeration..... I was however quoted 600.00... The reason I was saying 800 is when I buy new saws I tend to buy a couple extra chains, an extra bar and then taxes.... they really stick it to ya around here.... what would you consider a fair deal on the ms200t?

Just bought the second 200 the other day and gave $545 after taxes. If you buy much of anything from the place, they will normally work with you and give some kind of break. If not, look at ordering stuff somewhere else.

i wouldn't recommend the 637

my partner has one and i hate it.it's bulky and underpowered compared to their claimed HP.i'd buy the ms192 before i bought the 637.

i have been quoted $569 for the ms200 here.

i bought a 637 in feb and just bought a 200 last week as the solo kept breaking. They claim it has more power than the stihl but that is bull. I paid $560 for mine and did 4 big take downs today and loved it. Oh yeah the other anoying thing about the solo's is when they are hot it takes about 5 pulls to start........

Thanks to everyone for all of the input.... I will be purchasing the 200t... LOL I don't mind spending the money when it is worth it....!

just don't do any topping with it....thats a bad word :):censored:

Only when doing removals.... I won't just top a tree for the hell of it... LOL Often requested, but I don't do it. It's not worth my time to go up the tree unless i'm takin it down or pruning etc.....
