thanks Mark. looked the black parts over this morning and they came out great. just finished the yellow. it's pretty glossy while wet also but will hopefully tone down a bit. used an automotive urethane on the yellow parts. def not the dark yellow of the Partner version.

Frank - the closer you get to good old McCulloch Super Pro yellow, the better looking that PM1000 will become.

Before McCulloch started manufacturing their own chainsaws, McCulloch Motors was making engines for Reed Prentice so I guess this sort of qualifies for the McCulloch thread.
