Would anyone happen to have any Solo parts saws laying around they'd be interested in parting with? I bought a 647 a few months ago and it's missing the entire choke assembly/linkage/handle that's all built into the air cleaner. I'd have to get the whole air cleaner assembly from Solo and costs more than what I paid for the saw. Any help or suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

I'm not a fan of the way those choke assemblies are set up on those SOLOs. They're very fragile. And once they start to wear at all it is real hard to tell when the choke is completely open or if you have it totally closed trying to start the saw.

I don't have one but will keep an eye open.

It is kind of a poor design, but I've had good luck with the other 2 solo's I have. I got the 647 cheap enough and it runs really good. I took the air cleaner off my 654 and put it on the 47 in order to use it and see how it ran, but then after hunting down the part found out how expensive that little bunch of plastic is. Just looking for other alternatives. Thanks for keeping an eye out Scott.
