Okay, the Dolmar PS-7300 and PS-7900 are stand out saws. The PS-6400 is average because of the weight. Saws like the 357XP Husqvarna and MS361 Stihl are lighter and not much less powerful. Dolmar already builds Solo's 90cc saw. Dolmar is taking forever to release the PS-5000, and their top handle saw is sort of pathetic (If I recall, made by Tanaka). Solo's new top handle 637 looks good. Dolmar's small saws are good but older designs, and they are pro built saws, no plastic consumer stuff (except maybe the PS-34), which is not necessarily bad, but makes it hard to compete with Stihl and Husqvarna. Solo has a nice line of under 51cc saws, with some consumer models to fill that market. Both need help on dealer networks and marketing. Dolmar and Solo have their own strengths outside of chainsaws. The two companies need to combine their strenghts and kick butt. What do you think?
