New saws in the stable

Well, the lack of performance of the Solo was bugging me so I ordered a new cylinder. It came in 3 days! The new one required a gasket or the squish was dangerously close. Wished I had some .010 material but I had to make due with .020. The timing numbers on the stock cylinder look pretty good, except intake. Exhaust was 100 degrees, transfers at 125 degrees, intake was at 74 degrees. Not much to do but widen the ports as much as possible and lower the intake some. Ended up at 77 degrees on intake. Midnight and I got her running. She sounds good and has great throttle response. This one has a muffler mod already.

I'm going to go nuts at work tomorrow waiting to get home and try it out. I hope I don't get sick and become unable to make it in.
