More and more :spam: showing up lately...the mods must be sleeping on the job...
Back to the saw oiling...check you are getting oil off the tip when you first start...rev up your saw, hold it close over the bar cover or something smooth on the ground, you should see a trace of oil after a little while...none after 30 seconds, something's wrong.
When cutting with those narrow kerf bars, you need to give it a rev clear of the wood every now and then to help it clear the sawdust out from the bar...if you keep cutting with it buried, it will can get clogged and inhibit the oil flow...
