My opinion is for sale. Where are the bidders. LOL I honestly would buy it before I bought the 460. It is a great saw.

It's all preference though. That's your nutshell.

Over the past week or so, I have checked with two area Stihl dealers here in WC Wisconsin about the 441. One had no idea when they would be available so he picked up the phone and called his distributer right in front of me. He was told we could get them late Dec or first part of next year. Now, I'm reading that they are on store shelves on Thall & Lake's areas.

What gives with this??

I saw two pallet loads (approx. 100 of 'em) two weeks ago in Boonville, NY. But then again, like all the sellers there say- "There's no show like Boonville"

Ran the 441 on Saturday. It beat the 372s that were stock. It ran "better" than the new 460s. IMHO

BTW I could have left with the 441 for $30 more than the free 440 and you guys saw my choice. It's a racin thing.

I stopped in my local dealer the other day and they couldn't get their 441 started.

It was pretty though.

Maybe you should come to Va and buy them,hmmm
