scary bunch, as i said before. dead oak removal i had last year wasn't any easier when my client told me that he was a lawyer "specializing in construction law". oak got much bigger and deadier(?) than it was before.
lady with elevated pines lost her privacy, is it a time for local "fat cats from second floor" to take an action? do i see porsche dealer smiling?

I would have say these are not the right trees for the right place . Even most low growing plants are going to block the view of the road .

I agree. Aren't they kind of close together too?

Another way to look at it - if they survive another thirty or forty years, there will be some nice clear boards in the bottom 20'.

I've looked at this picture over and over again....Here is what I think.
I do a fair amount of ROW clearing, and lots of precision pruning..It looks to me like they did a fair job on the trees, there were good cuts made, and it didn't look like they took off anything that wasn't necessary..The lines need clearance, and it looks like they might have been possibly touching her roof, which over enough time, can cause roof damage.I could see her concern if they had really butchered the trees, but that doesn't look like the case to me.
We have one main outfit around here that clears lines for the power company, and I don't see how they have kept from getting sued over the way they leave some of these trees.
I deal with enough people on a weekly basis to know that there is always someone who has to have something to be upset about.

Just went by these trees today and they lost a large limb that smashed there fence out of one of the trees . Did not look to close maybe I will get some pictures .
