Here's a couple of videos of my grinder. 2006 Carlton SP7015 TRX - "Babe" the Blue Ox

The first stump was not green but wasn't quite rotten either. (oak)

The second one, the camera ran out of video card space and then it ran out of battery. Oh well. (pine)

Just some random stuff I did today on a job with the ASV RC30 with turf tracks.

I have a hitch on the front of my grapple so I can move trailers

Just moving a small pine log:

I sure can't remember how to make the actual video show up here instead of the link. Can someone refresh my memory?

Damn that thing takes some big bites! What was smoking? The wood from grinding or the belts?

Yup, won't work for me yet others can. Why is that?

The HTML is OFF in this section of the forum for some goofy reason, nobody can post those from what I can tell.

PM the admin and tell him to turn it on.

Yeah Pine stumps are a pain. The stuff looks so soft and easy but big green pine stumps chew your time as it just compresses & shreds in strips and wont be rushed. With old teeth on it just gets harder. If you can leave em to dry out a while can help but it takes months.
Still great bit of gear you got very impressed with the big side bite you could take. Carry on.

Pine are softer and easier than say a red oak but to me the problem is that the chips they create are more stringy than most and make a much larger pile.

I've got a small (11hp) stump grinder and I agree about a fresh pine stumps, they take time and horse power.
