I was already asleep, so no problems there.....

Those Husky parts would mess up the good looks of the saw a bit.......:biggrinbounce2: :biggrinbounce2:
Ah ha You admit it Jreds look better than husky's! Now I just need you to say they feel better to with the strait handle.

True, except Remington introduced it a few years before Partner...

That is true, and I believe it was used by others also, before Partner "re-invented" it in the mid 1980s, and refined it to todays standard a few years later, with the duct. The early Partner versions didn't have that duct, and was less effective.

As far as I know, the system was never patented, so it is pretty odd that Stihl didn't adopt it at an earlier stage..........:yoyo: :yoyo:

I have allways admitted that, but the real issue is that the grayish Husky parts won't match the black Jred top cover etc.....

I suspect that he will have to change out the rear handle/tank for an orange one also, to make the handlebar fit.........

When the saw came here it had the grey handle and grey brake handle on it... I changed them back so it would match..

.

Another gutshot at the ol' myth, that you need to change the tank assambly also, when switching between Husky and Jred handlebar.;)

I allways wondered about that one.....:taped:
