Opie and Anthony, broadcasting on KROCK in NYC and simulcast on XM 202 mentioned Sometimes a Great Notion on their program today. It was part of a theme of topics including a tranny who cut his own legs off with a circular powersaw, and a guy who cut his fingers off to save himself from drowning as his boat sank. Anthony remembered the drowning seen in the movie, but couldn't remember which movie it was from. Comic Louie CK called in with the correct title and named Neuman. Pretty good pull from way back. I was almost shouting the answer as I was driving down the road. I didn't think anyone would come up with the title. It really surprised me to hear it referenced somewhere besides here.
