I know that these aluminum snaps aren't being made anymore.

Thanks buddy, I followed up all of those leads. No one has any of the old, small, snaps left. Bummer...

Look on the American Arborist website for "sex bolts"

Tom, do either of these look like what your looking for? im not real sure on the actual size, but both are forged Alum snaps.

the first has a 1" eye, 1" gate, mbs=5,000#

the second has a 1" eye, 3/4" gate, mbs=6900#

I dont have them but might be able to get them.
