splice advice

Can anyone advise me on what thread or cord they are using to do lock stitching. Want to do a few 16 strand splices and would like some advice on how to finish them off. Thanks in advance for any advice or tips

I got some wax coated thread from wes spur. Works great. They have a ton of rope splicing supplies

So are you using whipping twine for the lock stitch

Yes. I whip it and then lock stitch over the whipping. I hide the twine ends under the whipping
