Probably, but wthat the heck...

Silvey, unless you want to learn how to file it by hand.
 
For a part timer, I would say get a short length of chain and practice.

Though IMO from what you say you do, full chisle is more then sufficient on a big saw.

Square is too finniky if you're not perfect.

Then you gotta do the gullet every few sharpenings.

good move.. i get the round file sharpening dn,, an now i send my chain off tobe sharpened..:) :) its just faster..
one thing i dont see is the tendency to get dull faster,, that i was expectin. holds edge as well as round to me.jmo
