This is the first year I'll be cutting firewood to sell. Prior to that it's just been for home use.
I won't be delivering it, rather, it will be U-PICK-UP. That said I believe I'll go with 16" pieces as that seems to be the standard. Using pallets I'll be stacking two tiers 4' high and 12' long (128 ft cubed). That way the customer will actually be getting what he pays for and I won't be known as the guy who shorts cords.
Gonna shoot for 10-15 cord to sell this year. That will pay off my new 22 ton and the 361.
Does anyone stack it differently for pick up??

Sounds like a good plan. I take it you'll be home when any pickups will take place? What are you charging, $175 per cord?

We cut 16" and stack 3 rows on a pallet to 4' wide and 4' high. One pallet equals 1/2 cord (4'x4'x4').
