If I get tired of bending over, I just work on my knees. Can use two hands more effectively.

Too willy nilly for me. I gotta get those sticks locked together in the stack or it all falls down. I make my stacks high though...

So do I but I make them lean so they don't fall down. either two ricks leaning against each other to start or a rick leaning against a shed, fence or whatever and then stack the next ricks against them.

I gotta try that pike pole - it would do for the lower layers.

Im tall 6'4" and the pike pole works good stacking to around 5 feet high.

I made it from a hoe handle a 5/16 grade 8 bolt about 6-8 inches long epoxied in the end and than cross drilled through the handle and the bolt and pinned in place and sharpened the head if the bolt with my 4 1/2 grinder
