Stealth Saw?

Hmmm, cheapo electric saws? Another avenue for my small but growing collection to take, thanks a lot, LOL
 
desdawg, was that wasn't that saw used by the rail road years ago? thought I saw one stamped with PRR in a scrap yard in Youngstown Ohio a few years back.
 
I don't know the history. I saw it on E-bay, clicked "Buy It Now" and added it to my collection. A friend of mine said this:
"Going through some of my literature and brochures I've found out that these were most used alot by carpenters but what caught my attention was the bigger models were used in lumber mills and by carpenters making post and beam houses and barns back then. They said the electric and air cut straighter."
I assume they cut straighter because they don't have engine torque?
