On a serious note, I've found the best source of useable used pistons/cylinders to be saws that falen to their deaths or have been run over by trucks or skidders. Usually the saw was running right up until its unfortunate demise.

Tree hits are on eBay pretty frequently, but I don't know if any 028s (or 024s) in that shape are up right now. Know a friendly dealer with a junkpile?
