I aquired a Stihl 011 today, my grandfather passed a couple of years ago and grandma gave it to me. Now the bad news, the saw is in a box, in pieces. I gave a lookover of the saw and all pieces seem to be there, with the exception of bar nuts, and gas cap. I remember him talking about the saw, and it needed a carb or carb fixed. I put the saw together and it will run when mix is dumped into cyl. gas and oil lines had been "replaced" (with whatever the heck he used). My question is, would anyone on here be interested in taking on my project, and a ballpark figure of $.New carb (or kit) gas cap, bar nuts, new oil and gas lines, give it a good check over, etc. I was with him in the 80s when he bought it, and has sentimental value.
