Hello everyone, this is my first post, sorry if I'm asking dumb questions. I'm trying to work up to fixing my Stihl 020AV, but would like to ask some general questions about the saws before I get specific.
I'd like to know if anyone can give a chronology of 020 models, it's pretty confusing, I'm seeing references to av, avp, super, t, etc... In what order were they made and what's the difference?
Also, I bought my 020av new in the late '80's, I'm not sure if it has points/condensor or electronic ignition. My owner's manual says "transistorized magneto ignition".
