well, sorry to bring back an old post but I finally found the part I was looking for.
except mine was orange so that is why I couldn't find it before but it was on the saw all along. just in the winter position.

here are a few pics I snapped, is it normal to have so much mix on the back side of the air filter

thanks for the help I just feel stupid that it took me so long to find it, I was about to go to the dealer and buy one
