Gonna tackle a Stihl 026 that will not start. Bought it and the guy said it was finicky in the cold, but he had put new hoses on it a year ago.
1. Could anybody hook me up with the repair manual and IPC?
2. Any ideas of where to start other than change out gas filter and clean carb?
3.Also it has the adjustable oiler but oils at idle according to the previous owner, any way to switch it to oil only when the chain is running?
I really want to get this fixed up and use as my light saw for limbing and general use. The 361 is not THAT heavy but I would rather lug around the 026 all day if it will do the job.
