Stihl 029 Super Oiling Problem

Thats what a hack would do. The studs, both, as a pair, delivered are $10 total. Nobody cobbles up a chainsaw to save 10 bucks.....

So the stud we are discussing grew???

A new one would be shorter?

Its the wrong stud, AND, a .325 chain won't even move, on a 3/8" bar. It would bind up while mounting the bar.

How can it be the "wrong" stud?????

That would be the problem with replacing the stud, it will be the same dimensions as the old stud, no? So then you will just have to modify the new stud.
