Stihl 036 Pro Muffler mods

What are the muffler mods you are using that gives gains in performance for an 036 Pro muffler?

Just open up the stock outlet to 3/4" and call it a day.

I put a 034 muffler on mine. Haven’t done anything else to it since. Other than use it of course.

He added an extra outlet. Same as I did to mine. You can buy a kit. Takes about 10 minutes to install. https://www.ebay.com/itm/153618076165

i just made the stock hole in the muffler bigger and retune. It's a gain but it is louder for sure. Prob bout the same hole as a 034...

Make sure you pull the muffler before cutting or drilling into it, and wash out all the filings.

Every bit of 1/2 inch hole. Use 1/2 conduit and bevel the inside smooth. Gets the hot gas out and doesn't burn the case, cover. Nice sound. This particular saw already was brown from the exit. Copied the ts400 outlet.
