Stihl 038 av super

Can anyone tell me which digital service manual this saw goes under. Is it the 029/039 manual on;

No it is not. Unfortunately, the shop manual for the 038 is not listed, only the IPL is. The 029/039 are entirely different saws than your 038.

Unless someone has scanned one, it doesn't exist. Your dealer can get you a printed copy.

Hey thx for the confirmation Lakeside. No wonder I can't find one. Saw is to old for the digital world. LOL. I will see what the dealer wants or pick one up on Ebay. They pop up there too. Thx again.

Don't get too hung up on getting the exact manual for your saw. A lot of the basic design concepts and repair techiques are fairly common.

You need the following part number (workshop manual): 0455 132 0123

They are quite inexpensive to the dealer, but there is no "MSRP" or "LIST as stihl really doesn't want the dealer to sell them. If you have a decent relationship with your dealer, it won't be a problem...

The avatar >> stay tuned as well as a manual I am also looking for a set of ear muffs for the helmet. LOL. They will double as BS protectors from some posts as well. LOL.
