Purchased new about '82 - 041 AV electronic quick stop. Used for about 25 face cord per year since '82. NOW, the oiler has stopped working. The oil pump itself looks OK, vanes still straight, not shoping much of a curve from wear. The worm gear actually shows the leading thread ( or 2) worn down quit a bit. Is this the problem? I have flushed the tank, checked the lines, and vent cap. I found no issues. While here, how does the worm gear/pump interface get lubed? Is it from Fuel? or from the pump dribbling excess?
are these parts no longer available from Stihl?

I am new here, directed to this site by some buddies. Spent last night searching in archives. Lots of good stuff.
I may have to finish out the wood season with my other 041, a late '70's yard sale find last summer for $60.
It runs just fine.
