Next up for sale I have an 044 Mag which has been rebuilt and ported. Muffler is dual port and has been modified. This saw is mostly oem except for the air filter cover, muffler and piston. Has a new Meteor piston with Caber rings, new Reisman dual port muffler and new air filter cover. New bearings, seals, excellent oem crank and many more new parts. PHO sorry no bar. Has a half wrap handlebar. Has the fully adjustable Zama C3M carburetor which has been rebuilt. Has a full face side cover with a "modified chip flap" :) This saw is a real strong runner and will last for several years! Asking $475 plus the ride. Thanks for looking!

Whats the flap(yellow dealy) on the back of the clutch cover, cover have damage?
Is there a crack on the front and back of the fuel tank/rear handle?
Which cylinder is it.
Thanks,
Brett

The "yellow dealy" is a homemade chip flap. At some point the posts were busted and a local farmer jury rigged it on there. It's actually quite solid, just looks funny. I call it an Idaho county special :) There is a little crack at the rear of the tank handle but it's not bad. The cylinder is a newer Stihl variant with horizontal fins. Not a Mahle or Gilardoni. Thanks for asking!

Thanks, I thought farmers only used bailing twine and fence wire lol.
I appreciate the cylinder answer too.
Did you port it.

Hehe no bailing twine on this one. All work done on the saw has been done by me. Additionally I am really happy with how this saw turned out. If I was still single without kids I would probably keep this one.

Do you have any picture of the chip flap or explain how you made it? I have a cover that the posts are busted off also.

Oh haha yep it's oem. It's still up for grabs, I also have an 046 mag with 28" bar, new chain and full wrap that I'm putting new bearings and seals in. It won't be ported though, it will be 100% oem though. If you make it up this way you're welcome to come take a look and try out saws anytime!
