ok I got a quick question , I got a new carb mount base because the one on the saw was cracked when I bought it . the new one is the correct part # but it doesn't seem to fit right. the front 5 screws all line up , but the back 2 screw holes don't , what gives ?

Front 5 holes line up fine

Back 2 not too well , its like it won't go back enough and over , the tank vent part is in the way keeping it from moveing , is this normal ?

Did you measure the width of the old one and compare it with the new one? There is two different styles of tanks for the 066

honestly no , the old one looks like it got something heavy dropped on it , it was all cracked to hell. i just looked up the part # on the ipl and ordered a new one . that sucks i didn't know there was 2 different ones

Give me the exact number on the old one. I probably have a used one in good shape.
