Good morning fellow chainsaw nuts, I am trying to figure out why there are two different bar plates for the 066. One has locking tabs like a push nut and one does not.
1128 664 1002 has tabs and the 1128 654 1001 does not. Thank you

Does the bar plate without the push tabs have a screw hole in it as later bar plates were held in place with a small machine screw whereas the older saws used the bar studs where the push tabs held to. They will both do the same job but the one with the screw to hold it makes for easier removal and reinstall.
