So you re-used the steel gasket and it's doing fine?

New gasket, new piston, diff cylinder.........It was the worn piston
giving me the problem, cocking in the bore so bad that one edge
of piston was hitting cylinder

Went and run a tank, 24" BC 3/8 8 tooth sprocket,
26" dia, 12 feet up the trunk, green White Oak :jawdrop:
New piston made a Damn big difference in power over the
old piston with new rings......or it sure seems like it
to me (Its my saw, and thats what I want to believe :D )

The only solder I have is some big dia stuff.

If you have nothing else you can split larger diameter into four sections with a sharp knife. Plumbing solder (Esp. the non lead 95/5) is ?????ing hard! 50/50 electrical solder in the small size much easier to work with.
