Have Stihl 076 saw. Unit keeps flooding. Dealer tells me I need a new carburetor but it is no longer available. It is a Walbro WS 26 carb. Does anyone know if there is a retro fit for this?

Have you tried a new carb kit yet? Dealers nowdays don't often do carb kits since they are more work and don't always work as intended. Often cheaper for them to install a new carb instead of messing with the old ones considering labor rates.

Ok then, I bet it has something to do with adjustment of the needle valve in the carb. Don't know that carb specifically, but is the top of the lever flush with the surface that the diaphragm sits on? Had a problem with a ms361 flooding out and lowering the metering lever solved the problem, at least until something else in that carb went out on me.

Click on forums and scroll down to "chainsaws". Lots of saw builders hang out there. I found a new in box carb for one of my 70's Homelite 1050's on ebay, Joe.
