Is their many of these 3002 000 9215 around, It seems short
for a big mount bar. Top bar in pic is a 3003 16". I bought
the 3002 bar off e-bay, here is the description by the seller
"14 in Stihl Chainsaw guide bar. In good shape!" and someone
had ask what the bar fit, sellers answer "Stilh 041 AV" :D I was kind sure it wasn't a 14" bar, but had
no idea it was a big mount bar. It really don't matter, it was less
than $10 to my door. So is this kind of old and rare bar?

It doesn't fit an 041.. maybe he means 051, 075/76 or 090 etc.

They were typically used in firewood processors or debarkers, but they were an option for some saws.

They are uncommon, but I know a guy with 50 of them - he bought them by mistake thinking they were 3003 mount!

A different option

If you want to keep them, you could buy bar mount shims from Baileys...look at my thread about my bow bar with that mount on the Baileys sponsored forum. They only cost $1 each. I'm going to include them when I sell my 3002 mount bow if the new owner has a 3003 mount saw. They use the smaller hardnose because the lack of a sprocket eats up more horsepower. I've seen those hardnoses much bigger, maybe 21-25" on an 038MagII
