Anyone have any 3003 mount bow bars for the Stihl (to fit an 044)?

A client of mine is looking for one. I have no dog in the hunt.

I have a guy looking for one for a 357xp. Sorry, I don't have any to let go of, but if I find an "extra" (unlikely), I'll give you a shout.

Looking for a large bow or a clearing bow?
Not sure what a "clearing bow" is. So I suppose a large bow.
I have a bow here I could mill the slot wider on and it would work but if someone had a Stihl mount one, that would be easier. He said he has always used bow saws and wants to continue to use them. He has a bow on an 044 now and is looking for a spare.

Try Chainsaw bar & repair in Oregon. They had some they made.
They only make 8" nose bows for Christmas trees. They told me that they cannot re-machine existing bows to a different bar mount due to insurance regulations, and nobody is making traditional bows anymore. I cannot install one on a Stihl saw anyway, per Stihl policy.

Well, I'm not a dealer of any brand so don't have any constraints. I'm also not a deep pocket so not too fearful of litigation... I don't personally use bow bars. I have in the past but they don't interest me now. I think I have two here now. I usually just flip them when I find them. One is on a Promac 60. I'll probably sell it on that saw after I fix it up. The other one I'm not sure what it fits. It's red so maybe Homelite?

A clearing bow would be one that appears to be stretched, like the x-mas tree bows.

Red was typically Homelite, orange Stihl and so on. I've got a Stihl bow for the 090 mount and a Mac bow for a G70

Lol. You can't do anything but breath as per the lawyers. o_O

What?? This is 2014, you have to get with the program! You exhale carbon dioxide, which is classified by our superior beings in the EPA as a dangerous greenhouse gas pollutant. I hope you have filed your environmental impact statement for your exhalations and applied for and paid for all your lawful, legal fees as mandated by the agency..if not, expect a visit from "security contractors" with badges and toting heavy armament. Protip..don't make any "furtive moves" as they will "fear for their safety"...

Thanks for the pics of the clearing bows, I never encountered one of those around here. Bow bars were used to cut pulp wood so they were more round than those. I had a call from a guy this morning that has a couple bow saws he wants to sell. One's a Homelite XL and the other is some Poulan (he wasn't sure) Anyway, I might pick them up if the price is right...

Would that Poulan by chance be similar to Husky mount?
