Quite often in threads, I see the airfilter as being one of the complaints on the 026, 036, 044 and 046. The closest I have to those saws is an 034. Last week, I cut blowdown with it all week and only blew out the filter at the end of each day back home in the garage.

Are you guys having to clean your filter more than that?

The 026 that I had would clog up the filter fairly quickly when cutting the hard dry dead oak out here. I just changed to a 026 pro for 2 reasons. Bigger filter and the compensation.

If you are cutting green wood I don't think you would have any problem.

I have had no problems with my 044 or 066

Ah-ha! Never thought about that. I've never cut dry wood.
