I have several wide nose laying around. No normal nose though.

That's a 25" bar, 050 gauge, 3/8" pitch, and a smaller nose, 11-teeth tip. Neal, the odds are very good that my clone tip will fit. The Stihl dealer sells the 3003-650-2551 tip here for $20 plus 7% sales tax. You might want to check first with the dealer to see if the 2551 tip will also work with your bar. I'd hate to ship you a brick.

Looking down the list of today's 25", 050 gauge RS bars, what I see is the 3003 000 4030 with a 10-teeth sprocket tip. That's also what worries me. When Stihl went from the 8830 to the 4030, they must have dropped the sprocket down in size.

Never a dull moment in this game.

Neal, that tip above looks bent, bottom rivet hole looks oval, and rivets are hard to come by. You should also check your bar condition (groove depth, bend, etc.). Is the bar worth saving with a new $20 to $25 sprocket tip?

I've already trued the rails and checked for wear. I just need a new tip. The PO got the bar pinched and ruined the tip trying to knock it out of the kerf. I'm interested in the knock-off.

I would like to do some trading if you had an air filter for a 026 in good shape?
