I figured by now some of you would have guessed a, 034 ,its one size smaller than an 036 and runs a similar in carb choke.

Except that, at least in the USA, the 034 (or Super) never had a compression release. The compression release was part of the upgrade to the
036 (at least here - it may have been different in Oz).

Or it could have started out life as an 034 and been re-topped with MS340 bits that had the decomp, or been 036 PRO topped, or MS360'd, or elcheapoed into something that runs- but not as good as the original nor for as long after market type top end.
 
If the choke is in the air filter it is an 026 PRO version. If the choke is in the carb it is an 036 PRO.
 
The 039. Series 1125 parts seem to be in short supply. Are the 039. Series 1127 parts interchangeable?
 
There is no 1125 series 039.
039 looks nothing like this.
036 bore dia is 48mm
