I saw part of some show last night about forensic pathalogy. There was this one fellow who killed his wife, froze her body, dismembered it with a chainsaw, and finally ran her through a chipper into a river.

The chainsaw? A Stihl 045AV Super, with full wrap handlebar. Still looked pretty good even after being in the river for a few months. Seems like overkill, but then again this isn't an area I have much experience in. :)

I'm waiting for someone to to say this guy owned some other chainsaw brand and had to go buy the Stihl because no one would possibly throw a perfectly good brand "X" in the river.

I saw that show. He was one sick bastxxx.
The thing that got me was the finger tip they found after he put the body through the chipper.

Does anyone know what brand of chainsaw was used in Texas Chainsaw Masacre?

I've never seen the movie, but I just looked through photos and things on eBay. It seems to be a Poulan 306.

Hey! I have the Allis version of one of those.

When I was working in the tool rental business in N.Y. some crazy guy did that to his wife with a brand new brush bandit. Wasn't our store thank god. I wonder if it was the same guy?
