I have seen all these extended looking clutch covers on numerous smallerStihl saws(360,361, etc...) with the large felling/bucking dawgs installed. Why I ask is I have a 360pro with 064 dawgs but they are not even with each other, was just wondering if a new larger side cover will help me out

No. I've had to modify all of mine. The outter dog wants to sit further forward, right? Yeah, I've had to redrill my dogs, and then work them into place even with the cover from a 660. I don't have any measurements or anything to offer up, but I do have a set of 660 dogs that are already drilled up for grabs in the 361 Spikes thread.

so is it a popular addition to add 660 side cover and your 361 even had to be drilled because it does not have holes on the cover if you used the stock cover, thanks for the reply

I don't know of anyone else putting a different cover on their 361. I'm sure someone has somewhere, but none that I know of here.

The hole are on the cover - just not all the way though...
